fits like a glove, blocks the EGR port and removes emissions on the truck and allows you to use a non-EGR carburetor. I have a 1987 Ford Short Bed 4x4, my dad bought a new one and it's my truck now and I removed the emissions a few years ago (over 25 years old) with an Edelbrock intake and it worked fine, but even the base performers have increased the carb height, tightened the vent, and right now I'm installing a long block and wanted to go back to the factory 4v intake as it's a simple standard build and truck to take my boat to the lake to tow, and this 1" spacer is the perfect replacement for removing the EGR spacer and still fits the factory carburetor bolts and nuts. The engine installation is not yet complete, but should start this weekend
