Review on πŸ”© Neewer Precision Steel Balance Scale Calibration Weight Kit Set - 205 Grams, Class M2 with Tweezers, Ideal for Digital Jewellery Scale, Laboratory, Commercial, and Educational Use by Raymond Simmons

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Acceptable calibration weights for utility purposes, low accuracy weighing.

I've tested these weights on a few different weights that have been calibrated with more expensive weights at the lab I work at and for cheap calibration weights they seem to do the job - all weights are within +/- 0.05 grams .its declared value. The build quality leaves a lot to be desired - the chrome finish is pitted and scratched, and the tiny 5g weight has a particularly ugly curve to the 'bar' at the top of the weight. The included tongs are flimsy, but they fit snugly enough in the included case and grip the weights as needed, although you'll need to hold them very close to the kettlebell if you're lifting a 100g or 200g kettlebell. . However, they are good enough for my purposes like sizing for parts counting and postage. I wouldn't trust them for jewelry, labs, pharmaceuticals, and I'm not sure they're durable enough for educational purposes, but if you're happy with an accuracy of +/- 1% around 5 grams, they'll be fine . Big.

Pros
  • Easy installation
