Genie GEN39027R Door Opener Extension Kit
This is a must have item when installing a Genie Garage Door Opener for an 8 foot high garage door. The extension rail replaces the 1 foot section of rail that attaches to the garage door header bracket. Adding the chain extension required only a few minutes to remove the master link on the regular chain and insert the 2 foot extension chain. I appreciated the fact that Genie replaced the short end section, rather than inserting another 1 foot rail section. This provides a more rigid rail assembly.
