I used this pump as a replacement for a Marineland Contour 5 as the previous one burnt out. It is more than enough flow for that tank as a nano reef but definitely too much as a freshwater setup.It works well enough but I have noticed an occasional stream of micro bubbles every so often which is frustrating but is is only a minor inconvenience.This tank is setup in an office but the pump is quiet enough that it doesn't disturb anyone around.Overall this pump is well worth the cost but I hope the micro bubble problem is just a 1-off issue.
