Orbs glow well and are easy to find at night. They burn about 8 minutes after switching on. I don't think the internal "timer" restarts every time it's triggered. I only played a few holes with them at the end of my round. Most importantly, the ball put a dent in my driver's toe. Remember that if you have a higher rate of turn, you ABSOLUTELY should not use the driver and these balls together. I have an average ball speed of 172 mph with my driver and miss a toe kick. This left a tidy dent on my driver and I ended up buying a new one because of that dent. I find it weird that I forgot the hardness of these balls and destroyed my driver, but it's been a while since I've played with a red hot ball. So be smart and only play fairways with metals or irons.
