The first thing I have to say is that the cold coffee maker is a work of art. The photos do not correspond to reality because when I opened this box I fell in love with its beauty. I may be a nerd, but even when I'm not making coffee I love how chic it looks on my counter. Second, the instructions and product are a little intimidating. Cold brew is supposed to be just coffee grounds in a filter that you soak in water overnight, easy but I've read all the instructions and I'm still confused. Don't get discouraged because after watching YouTube videos and trying it yourself, it's not hard at all. This cold brew comes with a recipe book and I followed the instructions for making a cold brew and it was very easy. 1) Flush on first use, 2) Pour the recommended amount of grist into the filter compartment and install the top filter before screwing the inner tube back on, 3) Fill the outer tube with the recommended amount of water, 4) Insert the inner tube Hose back into the outer hose and 5) press the center button for the desired time (make sure it's charged). When I had to clean it it was a very quick rinse, no stains. The taste was smooth. and not angry. I know a good cold drink shouldn't be acidic, but I've bought a lot of cold drinks in stores and they were acidic, so I'm glad I can make a cold drink at home in 15 minutes.
