Re-Upgrade: After receiving the replacement I have to say that I am very satisfied with this unit. I'm not sure what happened to the first block, I think it's just a bad SMD quality control process or something. I've tested this on some NIST hardware and it's amazing how accurate it is, including marshalling for current measurements. I used this module. to classify and sort almost all of my USB cables and I found a number of surprises in terms of cable quality, compatibility and performance. I don't see anything that could be improved on this device either. Maybe add a 1/16 acrylic sheet at the top to protect the screen or something. I think I'll put some mirror film directly on the screen to prevent scratches and at least provide some soft protection while reducing glare. (For me this is acceptable as the screen brightness can be cranked up quite a bit.) Update: One of the buttons fell off! Too bad, I really like this kid. :( [SEE ATTACHED IMAGE] Great hardware and apps! I just hooked up this device to my phone and I have to say it comes in very handy. The quality of the hardware is excellent. I checked the readings and they are about within a half percent with most of my other devices including some NIST devices you can't go wrong if you need to check the 5v settings overall quality) 5v data acquisition devices I've seen in this price range and it is one of my professional fields., wrote the company. It's perfect, no frills or BS, mostly ads. This would be a rating for one if there was one star there were ads on the program! :)
