Review on πŸ” SimpliSafe 8-Piece Wireless Home Security System - Optional 24/7 Professional Monitoring - No Contract - Alexa and Google Assistant Compatible - White by Radney Taala

Add up all the sensors you want to buy, not "24/7 surveillance without a contract "!

I think this company should be more transparent and not cover their descriptions with marketing hype. That makes her suspicious. First, it's not really "24/7 alarm tracking without a contract". You NEED their contract to get 24/7 alarm monitoring. Without a contract, all you get is a loud alarm in your home, with no 24/7 surveillance. Now I don't expect something like that for nothing, but that's how I first interpreted it. OK, no contract with your company, but maybe I could still get Wi-Fi text messages and Wi-Fi smartphone notifications or even emails, no. There is no way to set this up, you have to subscribe to their service (about $15/month as of today). It goes on to say "Protection for every room in your home" << Again, I find this to be *very little* misleading. It's not protection for every room in your home, it's protection for a limited number of sensors that come with the kit you buy. You need to buy additional window, door, water, freezing and temperature sensors. Marketing ads give the impression that this is your general store, buy this and get protection for every room in your home (no contract monitoring). ) at a low price, and that's not true. Besides that. yes, it was very easy to install. I like sensors that claim batteries last an average of 5 years. If it's 3-5 years, not 3-5 months, I'm perfectly happy with it. I really want this kit to have a glass break sensor. When I actually started stacking all the windows and front doors, garage windows and doors, and other openable entry points, the sensors really added up. So leave it as compared to a wired Smith Thompson type home alarm. Despite the slightly misleading marketing descriptions, if you ignore it, it's still an easy system to set up and use with what appears to be great battery life, but to get all the benefits (calls, SMS, email) you'll have to pay an extra $15 per month, and the company needs to understand this clearly.
