Review on ARES 11000 14Mm Magnetic Swivel Socket by Seth Damain

I was able to successfully change the spark plugs on my wife's 2013 Subaru Outback with this socket and a 1" extension. Both a regular 14mm deep head and a straight 14mm spark plug head will not fit. The 14mm hole depth was not long enough and the straight 14mm head did not fit into the spark plug recess due to the frame guide getting in the way. This rotating nest made the nasty task relatively easy. a 3/8" swivel attached to a 14mm socket, I don't think this will work well. The main problem with this vehicle is the length of the socket to the swivel or with an extension. If you add a swivel to a straight spark plug socket, the combination will be about 1 inch longer in front of the swivel. For the price of this cartridge, just buy a rotary cartridge and this task will be much easier.
