Ideal for refrigerators with sealed system

This variant of the cone valve uses an O-ring to seal the hole in the body. I used it on a 4 year old Samsung fridge where the freezer stopped working (a pretty common problem apparently). No mechanic will touch it as it is a sealed (and Samsung) unit. Instead of throwing away the $3,000 fridge, I bought it to charge the R134. So far this seems to have worked. Installation was easy and the adapter is a nice touch as you can use any R134 charging system on the valve with the adapter installed. Five stars for this valve and zero stars for Samsung fridges. I will buy their phones and maybe they should stick to electronics over home appliances. I will never buy their fridges again, that's for sure.
