Fits as expected in length, fits as expected in width. The boots are wide even though they are the usual wide size, but they are just the way I wanted, wide. I could not find good wide boots for my son. Kamik does what you call wide, but they use a lot less felt and put that thinner lining in a medium rubber cup. It doesn't warm your feet enough. I finally got him some Sorel boots, I already have mine. These boots are worth their price especially if you have younger children to pass them on to, they will last you for years. My son is 9 years old and we are already in the freezer of the Minnesota winter in November. He spends hours outside almost every day running in the snow. He LOVES these boots.
