I love this shoe. I bought them for a weekend trip in the snow (mainly sledding). Based on feedback I went up a half size to make room for extra thick socks, but the warmth of the boot didn't require special socks. Unfortunately, the boots felt loose without the extra thick toe caps. Full size is too big compared to half size. This was also underlined by the very wide look and fit of the style. Unless you plan on being in very cold weather I wouldn't recommend assessing the situation.

I've used Sorel boots my whole life. Now it's time to raise my boys, I turned to what I knew. There is no disappointment. Both my boys were surprised at how warm and comfortable they were. A day in the forest with half a meter of snow and both boys survived it without any problems. Warm dry feet as expected. Thanks again Sorel.

First, they are worth every penny spent. Love warmth, traction, waterproofing, style and comfort. The list goes on and on. Another important point. The insert slides out to speed up drying time when needed. But most importantly, if/when they get dirty/dirty bring a hose to them! Again worth every penny.

I usually wear children's clothes but these were too short and too tight. They look stylish and I think they will make good boots but check the sole for grip before putting them on.

I bought these for my 10 year old daughter and she loves them. She hasn't taken them off since we got them. I visited the Sorrel website for their assembly instructions but I did not purchase from them due to a return fee. They came in perfect condition and are the real deal.

These boots are my favorite. They keep my feet very warm in the snow and rain of our bitterly cold midwestern winter months without the need for very thick socks. They are waterproof and have a good grip. They tend to be a bit heavy but I'd say that's to be expected for the material. They're a bit stiff at first, but after a little abuse they give up a bit. I bought these for myself to fit a women's size 9. I saved some money to buy teenage boys that are the exact same style.

Fits as expected in length, fits as expected in width. The boots are wide even though they are the usual wide size, but they are just the way I wanted, wide. I could not find good wide boots for my son. Kamik does what you call wide, but they use a lot less felt and put that thinner lining in a medium rubber cup. It doesn't warm your feet enough. I finally got him some Sorel boots, I already have mine. These boots are worth their price especially if you have younger children to pass them on to,

My son used them this weekend in Mammoth, California. These are great boots that have worked great in the snow. They fit great and keep your feet warm.

Very comfortable although a bit big and a bit bulky (as snowshoes usually are). Good for cold and snow. Thick socks solve too many problems. Would give them a 4.5/5

I live in New York, we have snowstorms from time to time ;) it's amazing. Dry and comfortable. I'm glad I didn't buy Timberlands because they help!

I bought a child size and I'm glad it fits me perfectly. We rarely wear boots in tropical climates so winter/snow breaks take some time to get used to.

I wore them in Quebec during the winter. My super hypothermic child has never complained about cold feet. Allows you to wear thick wool socks without being too tight. I increased it by 1/2.

Have been buying these boots for 10 years. old son. He loves her! He was excited to receive them and wear them. A very nice boot. I haven't heard any complaints about his boots. We have bad winters and he likes to play in the snow. When he arrives, his feet are dry and warm. He never complained about cold feet. Snow does not get into the boots! This is definitely a plus. Manufacturers just don't make good boots these days. The Sorels took over. I hope he can live in it for at least two winters.

It was a cold winter in Wisconsin and my current winter boots didn't fit. I put on my sister's Sorel Caribou when we were away for a ski weekend and they were so comfortable and warm! I bought the youth version because they were offered at a cheaper price. You won't notice any difference between them and the adult version. The only size available was a boy 4. My boy is now a size 2 so it's my fault. However, they are kept until he grows into them. And I expect these boots will last until he passes to his little brother. Sorel has always been worth the investment.

I bought several different boots for my kids but Sorel boots are the warmest and the only ones that last more than a year. These boots are great and my boys love them!

I only know how the boots fit because I ordered them after all our snow and cold in May. I hope my feet stay warm and comfortable.

The boots with belly. Very stable, actually what I was looking for for my son and very warm, perfect for winter. Unfortunately, a point deduction, at size 37, the fallen dice, too big. I'm 39 and I can fit in the boots. Still have to keep in mind, because the children are growing anyway and this will probably happen to him next year ;))

These are the best boots for kids. My son has always complained about having so cold feet and he has never complained about it. He says they are very comfortable and very warm, he can be out in them for hours! They are also very stylish and go with everything.
