I love this shoe. I bought them for a weekend trip in the snow (mainly sledding). Based on feedback I went up a half size to make room for extra thick socks, but the warmth of the boot didn't require special socks. Unfortunately, the boots felt loose without the extra thick toe caps. Full size is too big compared to half size. This was also underlined by the very wide look and fit of the style. Unless you plan on being in very cold weather I wouldn't recommend assessing the situation.
