Hm smoke point 400?
I have a couple of cast iron skillets and have seasoned them with PAM High Temperature Grill Spray in the past. My wife hated when I baked empty pans because the PAM smoke point was well south of the 360 degree temperature I use, so the whole house stinks. This thing claims a smoke point of 400 degrees, but even though all the oil residue was removed from the pan and restored, it still smoked in the oven and stank throughout the house. Don't know if there was residual oil (don't know how) - but time will tell if it's actually better for twice the cost.
