I am a dental hygienist and spend a lot of time in this chair. That helped me alot. It makes me sit up straight. I would say I'm more comfortable with my feet pushed back rather than standing on the floor. I've always had to change lanes in a regular wheelchair, but now I can lean and change much more easily. It's also great for leaning back on something like a styrofoam roll while my back is knotted. The adjustment is on the back, which is a little inconvenient, but I rarely adjust it. I am about 5ft 7" and my doctor is about 6ft 3" and we can use the same size. I was in pain for the first day or two because I felt like I was cycling all day, but that passed quickly and now I feel soft and comfortable.
