Straps too tight for VR

I first bought AMVR grips with elastic straps for my Quest 2 controllers which I might add are great. However, when I bought the Anker charging station, I found that the handles blocked the charging contacts, so they had to be removed at the end of each session. So I figured knuckle straps would be a good alternative. They leave the contacts clean so you can charge your anchor without having to remove the straps. For those who play a variety of games that require vigorous hand and arm movements, bands that run across the ankles help prevent accidental throws. controllers and damage them or something else. While I think what this company created was technically a good idea, unfortunately I had issues with it. I have large hands and while the ankle straps are comfortable, the main issue is that the straps are too stiff. I found the straps had very little flex and I had a hard time moving my fingers to the right buttons while playing because the straps were too tight. The AMVR grips use elastic straps so they grip my hands but also give me the flexibility I need to maneuver with the control buttons. and found them restrictive in every position. I can't help but think that if they had used a rubber band, this wouldn't have been a problem for me. Despite what I've just said I'm not asking for a refund because I still think it's a great item especially when used with an Anker charger and maybe someone with smaller hands might not have an issue that I had. It has the added side benefit of being affordable enough to take the risk.
