Although another reviewer pointed out that these were vintage Wright keys, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a Revain Matte WrightGrip key. My guess is that Revain has a mixed selection of old and new keys and that much cheaper sizes are old fashioned. Wright wrenches are a little more expensive than many other brands, but they're affordable. They're thicker than most brands (more comfortable) and made in Ohio, which may affect your purchasing decision if you live in the US. Even if you live elsewhere, WrightGrip wrenches offer what most don't: The open end has been redesigned to reduce the likelihood of fastener rounding. The most notable changes are that the inside corners are drilled and there are grooves in the grip areas. (more noticeable on larger sizes). They are designed so the wrench grips the flat surfaces of the fastener, not the corners. This is effective, but the ridges can damage the surface of the fastener if it is particularly stubborn. Rounding screws is a terrible thing and you usually have to drill it out, so a little scratch is almost always worth it.
