Review on EZARC Diamond Cutting Wheel 3 x 3/8 Inch - Long-lasting Metal Cut Off Wheel for Rebar, Steel, Iron, and INOX with 5000+ Cuts by Ryan Pollock

Revainrating 1 out of 5

This can work in some limited situations; B. when cutting only very thin material.

I decided to give it a try. It promised a lot of cuts compared to a 3 inch grinding wheel. So I used my Milwaukee M12 Cut Off Tool. I started making a cut about 4" long on the 1/8" piece. After 1/2 inch the tool stopped. I stepped back, restated the passage, and continued in the same vein. I removed the blade and put on a 3 inch grinding wheel and made a double cut. The tool never got stuck and I made a cleaner cut faster. Is there a place for this blade? Maybe if you only cut thin sheet metal. 1/16" and 1/8" are too thick to work well. The problem is that the blade is too wide and has to cut too much material. If you're only cutting 18, 20 gauge or smaller it'll probably just fit fine, but for larger material it's better to buy a pack of a few dozen sanding sheets and use them. I can't say how long this blade will last because I only made one disappointing cut. .
