The Death Wheel is good for grinding and finishing materials

I have an angle grinder (you can buy a mandrel to attach it) at work. It is excellent for cutting materials in tight spaces. However, I recommend using a threadlocker on the screw that holds it. It came off once, luckily it didn't kill me. So everyone at work calls it the Wheel of Death. 👍

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to say

Works with Milwaukee tools

I use this blade with a Milwaukee 12V parting tool. It works very well with thin metals, vinyl trim and body panels. I've been wearing it for about two months now. It doesn't seem to fade at all. I am very happy with this purchase and will buy this product again.

Pros
  • Industry Best
Cons

Significantly cleaner than fiber discs

They don't cut as fast as fiber discs. But they don't fly apart or leave a mess due to fiber breakdown. Almost all of my cutting work is done indoors, so I like to keep dust and dirt to a minimum. It fits me. Also, I don't have to keep stopping and changing blades.

Pros
  • Test for one year
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great Value Blades

Cuts a bit wide as noted but a good blade. I've used it on switch boxes, sheet metal, screws, no problem. Just remember that it's thicker than the Fiber/Carbon version and adjust the fit accordingly. I'll give it a 4 for relative inaccuracy, but it's great value for money. I will buy again when the time is right.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Useless Features

Cuts fast but not clean.

Compared to conventional friction cutting discs. Cuts fast. But it doesn't make a clean cut. This creates a lot of ridges. It also makes a thicker cut than a regular cut-off wheel. But you can rest assured that it won't break when you cut it. Use it on a small Milwaukee M12 parting tool. 4 stars because of large burr and thick cut.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Some small things

Good, surprisingly durable.

I used it mainly to cut a lot of metal pipe. It does a pretty good job. It's fast and shows almost no signs of wear after a week! I've also used it to cut through a stack of steel beams, going through it like a hot knife through butter. The only downside is that it's wide. The hair is wider than a saw blade and much wider than a traditional cutting blade. After a few cuts to consider. Otherwise an excellent product.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Requires sleeve

This is an aggressive wheel and it cuts very well.

Make sure that the metal to be cut is securely fixed (vise/clamped) and that you hold the die grinder and cut so that the disc does not catch on the edge of the metal. Also, make sure you set the wheel for the correct rotation (see arrow on wheel). Note. Use safety goggles. My son cut corners 1/4 inch thick. This wheel cuts through butter like a hot knife. Note that the cut is wider than the grinding wheel. However, you don't have to change the cutting wheel for very long.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not everything fits

I decided to give it a try. It promised a lot of cuts compared to a 3 inch grinding wheel. So I used my Milwaukee M12 Cut Off Tool. I started making a cut about 4" long on the 1/8" piece. After 1/2 inch the tool stopped. I stepped back, restated the passage, and continued in the same vein. I removed the blade and put on a 3 inch grinding wheel and made a double cut. The tool never got stuck and I made a cleaner cut faster. Is there a place for this blade? Maybe if you only cut thin sheet metal.

Pros
  • High quality assembly
Cons
  • So-so
