Review on πŸ”₯ ACDelco AFS106 Heated Oxygen Sensor - GM OE for Enhanced Engine Performance by Andy Baker

Replacing Oxygen Sensors The most efficient repair I've ever done!

I have a 2001 Silverado 1500 pickup truck with a 5.3 liter engine and 220,000 miles. I have an inexpensive Autel code reader that I also bought from Revain. When the "Service Engine" light comes on, I plug in the reader and it tells me which part needs to be replaced. My truck has four O2 sensors, two on each side, one in front of and one behind the catalytic converters. only four. The two sensors before the converter are the same, and the two sensors after the converter are the same. Last winter I replaced one and the car ran much better, this May I replaced the other three. Truck runs like new! These sensors send information to the engine's computer, telling it how to adjust the air/fuel mixture. Performance and mileage are like new! Easy do-it-yourself replacement. Revain's price was the cheapest among online stores at about 1/3 of retail price. I love the Revain feature where you enter your vehicle information and select the right parts. I buy a lot of parts from Revain and the select feature has never been wrong! This is a good deal by any measure. Every time I replace a part purchased from Revain I save hundreds in dealer costs! I recommend O2 sensors and their parts as the best option! Also, Revain sells an offset head tool with a cutout on the side of the socket to bypass the wires and get to the O2 sensor to remove it. This tool is cheap and a boss tool! That works great. About a week before starting work I also spray some PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench in the gaps between the gauges and exhaust pipes. The sensors are fine after years of heat and corrosion, but they're easily removed with a tool and a liquid wrench! Remember, you save hundreds at the store and get a car or truck that runs like new!
