Plug and play, easy to use and small enough to keep out of the way when not in use. Technical support was not required when using Windows 10. I like that the white color matches my PC case. The included short cable is more suited to a laptop than a desktop computer. I recommend purchasing a USB extension cable for desktop use. The only downside is that it's quite noisy and I don't think it will be acceptable for watching movies. I don't really watch movies on my computer and most of the time my fans are louder than the DVD player so it doesn't bother me and it's a great deal for the price. You'll probably have to spend about 5 times more if you want something quiet.
