Review on Andobil Phone Holder for Car Vent: Military-Grade Grips, Ultra-Stable Mount for iPhones, Samsung, and All Cars by Dan Quiceno

Doesn't necessarily fit all air vents

So this is where I kind of broke. Out of the box it didn't fit the air vents on my 2017 Civic. I had to cut and remove two plastic pieces of the bracket to install it. However, after "modifying" it, I was able to get it to work in my machine. Pros: - It's definitely sturdy. Once attached to the vent, my mount doesn't move, and the mount itself can be tightened so it doesn't move/rotate either. - The holder holds my phone very securely. I'm sure the phone won't fall out until I remove it. The holder is easy to open with a button on the side. If you live in an area where hot weather makes suction cup mounts impractical, an air vent mount might be a good alternative (I don't have a CD player and those mounts are terrible anyway). ) Cons: - With a bleed mount you usually lose the bleed. I chose the left side of the door. I had to trim the bracket to fit the vent. If the air vents in your car are pretty narrow, this becomes a problem. A slight redesign of the mount that supports narrower vents (like the new generation Civic) and I can mount it as is and I would change that to 5 stars.

  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • There are some downsides
