Review on Buon Vino Mini Jet Filter by Mark Scoggins

Don't waste your money.

DO NOT BUY. Let me save you money, time, and frustration, as well as a few swear words that come out during use. I bought this pump with a bunch of extra filters from the manufacturer of this pump. I don't know where to start. The first is the first. I followed the manufacturer's instructions. The first problem I had was installing the pump's suction and discharge nipples. I didn't understand this. But I see a lock that slides down and locks the nipples. Both have expired. The intake tract draws in some air. I'm not an ass. My hoses were fine. The pressure hose of the pump goes to the filter system. It also leaks. You'll have wine all over the countertop or wherever that pump is placed. I couldn't prevent it. It just flows. Let's get to the cartridges. There are different options when it comes to numbers. Nothing confusing which number you need for which stage you are in to filter. The manual says you can soak them in water for at least 1 minute on each of the 3. If you manage to place them backwards, your talent! Pretty clear. So you insert them between the plates as instructed in the instructions. Pull the handles down. Connect all hoses and fill the pump with water. Let him work for a minute. Turn off the pump, then switch to wine. Pump out all the water, and once only the wine comes out, switch to the container you want to fill. After about 20 seconds, more wine flows from the filters into the bowl than the pump delivers. Also, the wine splashes everywhere. This creates a huge mess. You'll be furious when you see your hard work splattered all over the place! I haven't tried just once to get this to work. More than 6 times. Follow the instructions every time. I lost at least a gallon of wine using this pump. I hate this pump so much I'm throwing it in the trash after 6 failed attempts. Because I couldn't catch myself trying to sell it to someone else even though I knew what I was dealing with and what the buyer would do. That thing is a trash can. Spend $150 or $200 on the best product. Unfortunately I hope the manufacturer doesn't sell them to many until they fix the problems.
