Working but NOT OEM Controller

It was a good buy but there are a few differences from the OEM version. I lent my brother a TV and he lost the remote control. Like you said. No good deed goes unpunished. I won't even mention what he did to my truck. Anyway, I was able to use the Peel remote with an infrared blaster on my Xiaomi Redmi 6 budget phone to set up a TV with internet so my brother could use the ROKU app on his $1,000. iPhone THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN IR BLASTER? I assume you only pay for the NAME. There is no envy of the iPhone! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 - First time. Batteries are NOT included. - The HOLSTER remote control is easy to install and attaches well to the back of the TV. I was hoping the remote would have a comfortable seat or some sort of latch so I could easily slip the remote in if one of my frequent moves happened. But in those situations I still have to tape the controller to the holster. - The controller worked properly after the batteries were installed. It's infrared so it does NOT need to be paired with my 2018 49" TCL 5 Series TV. I like that the buttons feel better than the OEM version and they click too! -- Warning: the controller is about the same size as the OEM but seems a little thinner and made out of slick plastic (why?) In big hands I find it extremely difficult to hold and control the remote with it, so I have a hard time holding and controlling the remote with my hand, it wants me jump out of hand and fly away. You have to come up with some kind of friction device to make it more comfortable. Maybe tape a cloth to the bottom or try tape. You have to be careful to ensure access to the battery compartment, whatever the solution. Happy clicking!
