Definitely not the most durable tool you will find. It's a fairly light material and flexible. The jaws, if you can get them to bite the yoke of the boot, will squeeze it, but not in the most graceful way. Instead of squeezing it at the ends and leaving the crimp nice and flat, doing it is basically the same as if you were just using pliers. It did the job when I replaced the inner CV case on my Polaris Ranger, but if I have to make another one I doubt I'll use it.
