Review on Universal 2.5 Inch Inlet Exhaust Tip - Black Tailpipe with Bolt-On Design for Cars by Michael Hale

Not sure if other reviewers say their tip is too small. The one I got measures over 2.5 inches and doesn't even tighten to fit my exhaust pipe. Like others, I've spent over an hour of my life trying to reconcile it. The solution seems to be a 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" pipe adapter, which I'd be happy to buy if I knew I needed one. Let's see, the tip I received is over 2.7 inches in ID and requires additional parts. This happens on a '98 Jeep XJ with a stock exhaust.
