I hate stretchy straps. But what I hate the most is tightening straps without the right tools. This doesn't work for every application, but it works for most who don't have a dedicated tool. Works on Kia/Hyundai with tension straps. Works on some Mazdas. I will not work for BMW or Ford Fiesta. They have special tools. I haven't tried it on new Chevy cars with AC belts, but I used a Gates 91030 for this. The tool inserts into the back of the crank. It's uncomfortable, but it was the only way to do it. This Lisle tool will fit Chevy if it fits behind the crank pulley. In any case, a great tool for annoying tension belts. It has a magnet, unlike the Gates 91030, which helps with use.
