Okay, maybe I'm stupid and didn't realize that the drawing chair is always high, but this chair doesn't look like a work chair from the height. It's more like the height of a bar stool. The picture showing the lowest height is accurate, but I clearly haven't thought about what height it says. Just remember that this is not a chair that can be placed under a table. I suppose it would be fine on a drafting table or art easel. I kept it because I didn't want to mess around with returns and we dropped the round foot test because we use it on a higher table. Instead we put our feet on top of our feet/legs.
