Excellent for capturing video from a switcher for streaming or recording. It doesn't fit snugly into the connector so you don't have to move it around too much, but it stays in place. Simply pull out with light pressure. The quality is actually surprisingly good. I'm no expert, but I've played games my whole life and can tell the difference in graphics on a lower resolution TV. I would say that you can trust my opinion enough. In any case, try it out! Also, my computer has a special port for receiving sound. Others only record video, so be aware that you may need to check if you only have one type of USB connection.
