Review on 🧩 Magna Tiles 18915: The Ultimate Award-Winning Educational Tool for Creativity and Learning by Scott Ward

I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars but ended up with 4 because these tiles will last a long time. I'd like to start off by saying that if you're new to magnetic tiles, you REALLY want these in your toy repertoire. We have several brands and really don't notice much difference between them. For the price this brand is the most expensive but they seem to be a bit more durable and I think they are the original brand. I have two/three problems with this set: 1) The triangles are not shiny or reflective. This seems a little ridiculous as these are 4 of 15 magnets in a set, sold specifically to be shiny and mirrored. 2) Mirrors REALLY scratch easily. My son has been playing with these for 2 hours now and he doesn't swear much for a 4 year old and they are already VERY scratchy. a bit of a shame for me but admittedly it seems to be from phase 3, the price is quite high for 15 tiles. But I resigned myself to that when I decided I wanted a glossy tile, so I'm just counting on that. mirror included at all. And I'm really annoyed by the triangles - seriously, why aren't they glowing?
