My original review was 1 star. My current rating is 3 stars and may improve to 4-5 stars in the next 2 weeks. My business has been instrument calibration for 25 years. The jump to 2 stars is mainly based on Kurt's customer support. The app is easy to install and easy to find what you need. The factory has really stepped up after-sales service for the device. I have found the device to be accurate when weighing vehicles between 200 and 300 pounds (compared to certified truck scales which are less than 1%). My car weighs about 6000 pounds. (Accuracy in percent 3-5%). I haven't tried the speech weight function yet and haven't noticed the accuracy yet. My concern is that for a small 5800 lb RV the accuracy of the best weigh is the full weight range of my tongue. (5800 lbs, 10-15% allowed = 870 lbs - 580 lbs = 290 lbs). Weight indicators are analogue measuring devices with different total ranges. this. You can select the entire range, e.g. B. 6000 lbs or 10000 lbs. I've noticed on a few forums that people want digital gauges, but when you buy towbars they're still analog. Overall, I like Curt's customer service, even if he couldn't solve my problem. Testing of the device continues as I have yet to test it with 500lb and 1000lb calibrated weights in my vehicle. I have yet to evaluate the accuracy of the trailer language. A tip: during a level, if you don't see the screen asking to align the better weighing function: go to apps, clear cache and files, clear the app, restart, reload the app, connect yourself better weigh and go to car swap then complete the level then calibrate. I believe it might work for heavier trucks and loads based on the accuracy I've observed, but I haven't finished testing this device yet. I worked on this device for more than 15 hours without any problems to analyze it. The download count is over 50 which still seems a bit new and maybe that's why the manufacturer can't fix the issue on my phone yet as there are no reported issues. The app still doesn't work on my new Huawei Mate 30 Pro and also on an Android 7 device. It will work on Samsung s8. I should mention autosupport. This works with every vehicle. I think the app was originally designed to read the characters on the car's door jamb (the real reason I bought it), but it has since been scaled down to allow the user to easily input data. It requests the GVWR and maximum passenger weight from the tags. If your tags have been deleted, you can find them online. This works for all vehicles. Despite the screenshots of the application from 01/15/2020, the application screens are now different and do not yet have the function of adjusting the brake booster. I hope this integrates with their ECHO brake controls. Photos will be included in my next review update. Thanks to Christy and Eric at Curt for their help with this product. I hope to make this product better for everyone.
