I needed a thin piece of foam to stretch the keyboard the full length and fold down the edge of my desk to create a little cushion for my wrists . I used two foam mouse pads but they aren't big enough and keep slipping. This piece of foam is perfect for my needs. It's even long enough to extend past my keyboard and offers a large "mouse pad" area, which in turn extends down from the edge of my desk to provide a little cushion for my wrist when I use the mouse. There's a few inches more length that I'll probably cut off,
