Review on Heavy Metal Pairs Drawer Slides: Smooth and Sturdy Storage Solution by Rosalio Zavala

I thought it was a good deal at $80 for 6 pairs. Installation went well and they felt smooth and stable. After a few weeks, one of my drawers lost its "soft-close". On closer inspection, the small plastic shock absorber was broken. The seller agreed to send me replacements as soon as the slides became available. A few weeks later I received a replacement along with a pleasant surprise. The new slide has been greatly improved! The plastic piston is now metal, as are some other parts that were plastic. The springs are also stronger. After confirming with the seller that this is a new Lontan design, I checked the current price (anticipating an increase). To my surprise, 6 pairs are now only $75 instead of $80! They are very good for the price but I am frustrated that I have an old style and hope I don't have any more failures.
