This cream has a rich creamy texture and is easily absorbed. My dry, irritated and reactive acne-prone skin drank it right away. What struck me is that the ingredient list is loaded with numerous superfoods and adoptogens that are scientifically proven to fight inflammation; be it stress, environmental factors, diet, etc. Other ingredients in the cream help fight hyperpigmentation and lighten the skin. My skin feels really hydrated and looks more even after use. I get dry patches in the winter and usually have to apply products to hydrate, but one coat instantly brings moisture back to dry areas. I can also use it as an eye cream as the caffeine also eliminates puffiness and doesn't irritate my eyes. I love an all in one face cream that I can literally just sweep all over my face! lol The only potential downside is that it contains an essential oil: lemongrass. I don't see any possible benefit in including it in this formula. Others say it doesn't smell, but I notice it. I wish they would remove this ingredient as essential oils can become oxidative when exposed to sunlight, thus counteracting the antioxidant properties. Some people are also sensitive to and react to essential oils. I had no reaction and still really like the benefits I've seen from this cream, but for the reasons above I only use it at night now.
