I agree with the reviews that the underside of these curtains is not perfectly flat but is fairly flat. I have furniture in front of the floor so it doesn't really matter. We had blinds but we took them for a room that we turned into our living room. It used to be too bright to have a TV in there so I took them and moved the rooms and they are perfect for our living room/movie watching. The quality is wonderful - better than expected - holding up to our three dogs pawing at the sliding glass door curtains to get outside. We can also see a difference in maintaining temperature control. While I see picky people saying they aren't full blackout panels, they do block 99.9% of the light. the dogs sleep until we wake up at the weekend and they get up at first light.bonus!
