Review on Nightkonic LR44 AG13 357 SR44 A76 303 Battery 1.5V Button Coin Cell Batteries - 40 Count by Felicia Sanchez

Situationally useful

Actually the biggest problem is that their voltage drops much faster than well known brand LR44/357 coins. I first bought them to drive diodes which have minimum voltage requirements. They worked for my intended purpose (short term use in harsh environments) but if you intend to use them long term (keychain flashlights) I wouldn't recommend them. I fish a lot at night and use lighted floats that use 2 LR44's. /357 for single diode operation. They are fairly cheap and tend to fall off the line when the fish goes deep. The new floats (which come with a couple of batteries) are cheaper than the smallest Energizer 357 I can get my hands on. So 40 batteries at a very reasonable price were a bargain. Pros - Economical Cons - Terrible performance. A room temperature (70F) float will kill batteries in about 4-5 hours. In the fridge (40F, which is closer to the temperature of the water I run the floats in) they fall too low to keep the lights on for an hour. Conversely, the energizers I've used keep the float burning at room temperature for more than 48 hours, withstand cold water, and tarnish only slightly. The good news is that these floats are cheap. Eventually they tear or leak a bit and ruin the batteries. Or they turn on by themselves and that kills/leaks the batteries. In a way, the downsides work in a positive direction. I use some batteries on the float, when they die it's time to pack it up for the night. I can then store the floats open (to make sure they're dry) and not have to worry about loose batteries (because they're dead and can be recycled). I have a flashlight keychain (for 3 pieces, a fairly powerful diode) is not good. Died 30 minutes later. Battery voltage dropped from 1.36 to 0.72. * Tried them out in a regular 5mw laser pointer (4x stack) to use throughout the day to point at things at work. Didn't make it through the day. * I've tried them with a UV diode (for charging glow-in-the-dark devices). Only runs a few minutes and the battery voltage drops too much to keep powering the diode (but they work in lower threshold electronics).

Pros
  • Battery size 11.6*5.4mm Brand new - full 1.5V and 3 years expiry date
Cons
  • I will add later
