This is perfect for our very handy 4 year old! He will be receiving this as one of his Christmas gifts and we know he will love it! Overall, it feels very soft, but is still very durable. I read previous reviews and we had no problem accessing any ports or buttons. The kickstand on the back is great and the thick strap comes in handy on road trips. Overall we'll probably buy another one in black as well (we bought red) :-) So I just bought a second round of this tablet case. This time we bought the blue version and it's just as good as the first one. We will stick with this brand of iPad cases for our son!
