Standard assembly and minor repairs. I would definitely consider adding a few more tools/supplies if I give this to one of my kids who takes first place. In my opinion they are being confused with something other than a starter kit. The tools and toolbox are painted a cheerful light green/mint color which I like and is easily distinguishable from my other tools (I'm female) so I don't know how the boys will feel about Mint. I find the tool chest itself seems cheap but with so few tools there is plenty of room to add more at once or as needed over time. There is a compartment for side dishes, but it's very small and not very practical. Like most non-specialty/general store starter toolkits, this isn't the best or even average quality, rather lower quality but with some utility. Thank you for reading.
