Out of the box, they feel a little light and hollow, but they're not overly large like some of the less expensive devices I've tried. They were camouflaged but came with a very light silver carry case. Readings are accurate to tenths of a yard and match my old Bushnell range finder. I wanted to use this range finder to get accurate tilt readings for archery. When shooting with an uphill or downhill arc, both result in a shorter target distance (gravity acts on the arrow at a shorter distance). This range finder might be great for golf, but slope distance is only for golf. Uphill shots increase distance. while hill kills subtract distance. For example, the attached photo shows a location 47 meters and 11 degrees downhill. As an archer, I'm supposed to be aiming for 46.1 yards. This range finder says I should use 37.2 yards. That's enough to completely miss the 3D target. The weird thing is that this H1000 I have is camouflaged as if it's meant for hunting. It works great as a standard range finder and the optics are as good as my old Bushnell. know what you're getting. By the way, the Bijia representative was very helpful with my questions. Customer service ranges from 4 to 5 stars.
