I found that the hose on my old vacuum broke after the suction power had really dropped. I bought a new vacuum cleaner to understand that I can buy a replacement. I have a professional 501 elevator (I think). It was the same price as the shark but came much quicker. It's blue, not red, but I don't care. It wobbles a bit but the grip clicks and works great!
