Used on 2005 Chevrolet Silverado WT. These are just LEDs and obviously can be used in many places. I bought white LEDs. I replaced 8 LEDs on my HVAC control box, although only 2 temperature controls didn't light up. I also changed the bulb in the car light switch to the left of the charge/bed/fog switch. I haven't changed the bulbs in the charge/bed/fog switch since I bought it new (I didn't have a fog light switch so I bought it). I'll probably do the instrument cluster as well, but I'm waiting to get an unlocked one for DIC from Denali or something. The white is not too bright and can be dimmed with the car's factory switch. They outweigh the 15-year-old bulbs in the instrument cluster. This saves a lot of money if you want to replace "maintenance free" headlights without replacing the entire module / without going to the dealer or workshop. Installation is easy - it's a 2-pin LED. ; Just pay attention to the polarity. I would post a photo, but Amazon doesn't have such a feature right now.
