Purchased for a 2001 Honda Civic LX coupe. First, check if your 6.5 inch speakers will fit. If your secondary speakers have a 6.5" flat mount, they will fit nicely in the mount as is. However if they are mounted normal deep you will need to shave/clip the edge. elongated plastic holes for installing speakers. As some others have noted, the 2 plastic pins sticking out on the door side of the bracket are meant to act as a guide as you will need to drill (3) holes with a 1/8" drill bit. Insert 2 pins into the 2 bottom factory slots where the bottom of the factory bracket would normally fit. Then drill holes. Use self-tapping screws.
