Review on TKHIN Capture Recorder Streaming Nintendo by Frank Mayes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

1080p @ 60FPS - Confirmed!

I am very satisfied with this video capture card. As I streamline my studio setup, I wanted to get rid of the need to use an SD card and just record straight through OBS. According to OBS and my editing software, this output was 1080p at 60 fps. Exactly what I needed! Pros: Streaming - I can stream with the Sony A6400! Setup was pretty easy. I've watched a few videos that talk about removing the overlay and getting output that matches my software. Small - it's tiny and light. It's easy to hide behind the monitor and not intervene. 1080p - I was so disappointed with my first capture card that could only produce 30 fps. This one, I confirm, can do 60 fps. This is where I stream and this is where I record. Nice that it keeps what it promises! Cons: USB - looks like a USB 3 port on the device but only comes with a USB 2 cable. The cable is also a bit short for my setup. I used a USB 3 cable instead, I can't tell any difference in quality. I also wish the USB cable that came with it was longer. Actually, I don't have much to complain about. It does the job I want and it was cheap to download. I shoot great footage straight from my DSLR and it takes my streaming setup to the next level. It just works!
