This is great for my children's room! He uses a sound machine at night, but I think that even if you don't use this machine, it's very quiet and doesn't bother anyone. The mist it releases seems enough for his room, it definitely helps with nasal congestion. Also, the night mode is great so the light doesn't come on while he sleeps. The only downside I've found is that it's a bit fiddly to clean. There doesn't seem to be a good way to empty the water tank when needed. I rinse it thoroughly after each use and it has worked well so far.
