Review on Water Cooling System for Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420, Black/ARGB by Jnis vele ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

The unusual shape of the box is a triangle. There are no instructions included in the package; instead, you must refer to the official website, which is difficult to use on my phone. The thermal paste was included in the MX-5, and the volume was adequate. It turned out that you don't need to utilize the PUMP connector on the mother board; otherwise, the fans would operate at 100% speed without speed control, and there is only a connector for the CPU on the board itself. Installed without any issues in the Fractal Design Define 7 XL case; up till the top cover of the case, there is still some open space remaining. I drove the load on the CPU in OCCT, and the highest value was about 97 degrees, as it turned out. This lasted until the fans spun at full speed, at which point the temperature stabilized at about 82 degrees with a power package of 180W, and the processor frequency was set at 5.4 GHz. In other words, there is still some room for improvement in terms of the effectiveness of the cooling system. In overall, I am happy that I decided to purchase this CBO because the temperature inside my workplace rarely reaches 95 degrees, which is the upper limit for AM5.

Pros
  • Rather inexpensive bandura (purchased at around 13K). The speed of the fan can be changed.
Cons
  • Instructions seen on the internet that are strange. In addition to connecting to the motherboard, the instructions provide no information whatsoever concerning a peculiar wire that has a 4-pin connector. This wire is also connected to the motherboard. I just let it hang there in its current state.
