Mine came calibrated like the others. I was thrilled to see that the DEF I was using was real DEF and not water. I have an RV and can't buy large quantities so I buy jugs from a big store. I know I'll take that tool with me and check every pitcher before I pour it into my tank. The verification takes seconds. I found that I needed a flashlight to illuminate the end of the prism to make reading a little brighter for my eyes.
