I bought these to renovate the kitchen floor in an old house I recently bought. I researched Pinterest to determine the best type of primer and paint. On Saturday I washed the old floor thoroughly, primed it after drying and then applied 2 coats of white paint. On Sunday it took me about 6 hours to stencil the entire kitchen floor in one area 8x8 and another 10x12. I bought 3 sets of stencils. To my surprise there were 2 stencils in each set. I used masking tape to tape the two stencils together so I had 3 sets of 2 stencils that helped me paint 6 squares at a time and keep going. I also folded small tabs of tape in the corner of each sheet to make it easier and cleaner to pick them up off the floor. I would recommend using a high density foam roller to apply the paint.
