The Innova Battery/Charge Monitor is a huge upgrade over the factory installed Battery Monitor, which only shows green, amber, and red lights and nothing else. With the advent of LED lighting and solar panels, it is possible to extend battery life by constantly monitoring the voltage. I was able to determine how many volts each of the cells in my trailer draws, which prolongs the life of the battery before it needs to be recharged. While the generator or shore power is running, the battery monitor switches to charging mode and lets you know if your charging system is working properly. I mounted a battery monitor in a dual USB/socket mount next to the factory radio for easy viewing from anywhere on my trailer. You will not be disappointed with this purchase! The best thing is that it is portable so you can take it with you.
