This may work for others, but this brush just pulled and snagged my beard hair. It's a shame because I really like the stiff boar's hair bristles. The problem is that the "barrel" part of the brush where the bristles are secured is a spiraled piece of metal. I found that when I try to use this brush for styling of my beard, my hair constantly gets caught in the metal spiral making it unusable for me. Because of this, I will be returning this product.
