Review on 🌸 Yardey London Hand Cream with April Violets - 3.4 Oz - Nourishing Formula by George Santana

Bad smell on foot, hand and nail care

Now I am not criticizing the seller I bought this item from, a reliable cosmetics supplier/seller with great products and fast shipping. It's my fault I don't know what Yardley April Violet's hand cream smells like. I thought it would be nice and subtle, like the classic Yardley lavender soap that has been around for decades. I thought it was a traditional 1960s-1970s violet scent, nice and light, like Avon Raining Violets Cologne (a product sorely lacking). That awful smell - it's not even sickeningly sweet, it's like dead plants or something and sticky. I have to get rid of the tube, throw it in a charity donation bin or something, but in a way, that's not something even a person who could use a free, barely-touch hand cream could do. Who wants to rub this garbage on their hands? It doesn't even smell like flowers or even a cheap scent - it's just gross. I just haven't learned my lesson when it comes to violet-scented beauty products. I can count the brands of soap I like on the fingers of one hand and I haven't seen that gorgeous purple hand cream I've been buying for about three years. I took a chance buying it out of desperation and it's ten bucks down the drain. My fault for being so stupid.
